Meghan Kramer is a multimedia craftswoman from the Southeastern United States. Exploring ways the natural world relates back to the human psyche, she references concepts of home, identity, and interpersonal relationships through fables and metaphor. She works primarily with clay and glass, and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Craft and Material Studies. Meghan completed a Studio Assistantship at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA, in 2019. She has shown work throughout Virginia, and has furthered her education as a student at both Penland School of Crafts and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. She currently lives, works, and teaches in the Shenandoah Valley.
